1st International Symposium Music Visualization 2018 – MuVis

Technology is constantly moving and evolving to provide tools enhancing life in a natural seamless manner, and engaging individuals in using computers and mobile technologies, breaking the barriers raised since accessibility issues, inter-generational gaps, lack of attractiveness and playfulness. Visualization in Music is an attracting area to support users in many ways ranging from enhancing learning to providing support in performance. “Music Visualization 2018” symposium provides a multidisciplinary collaborative forum for researchers and practitioners from Computer Science, Art & Design, and Education to present practical results related to the development and applications of visualization in music.

Within this context, contributions to this symposium are expected to deal with case studies, algorithms, analytic and visualization tools, methods and techniques that address topics such as:
