CAaiVDE-Computer Animation, AI-Driven Visualisation & Digital Effects explores the convergence of artificial intelligence, computer animation, and advanced visualisation technologies in shaping next-generation digital experiences.
The symposium provides an international forum for researchers, artists, engineers, educators, and industry practitioners to present cutting-edge research and applied innovations at the intersection of:
- AI-assisted animation and generative motion
- Intelligent visual simulation systems
- Real-time rendering and immersive media
- Scientific, medical, and forensic visualisation
- Digital effects for entertainment, industry, and policy
The field is undergoing rapid transformation through machine learning, neural rendering, generative models, real-time simulation, and human–AI collaboration. Animation is no longer solely keyframe- or physics-driven—it is increasingly data-driven, adaptive, and interactive.
CAaiVDE aims to:
- Identify emerging research frontiers in AI-augmented animation and visual effects
- Bridge theory, creative practice, and industrial application
- Explore ethical, computational, and perceptual challenges in intelligent animation systems
- Foster collaboration between academia, creative industries, simulation engineering, and AI research
The symposium welcomes original research papers, case studies, technical systems, artistic works, and work-in-progress contributions.
