All papers and posters must be written in clear English and clearly explain the contribution and relevance of your work.<\/p>\n<p>Format &amp; Template:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a full paper \u2013 \u00a0(6 pages _format* \/ per registration)<\/li>\n<li>a short paper \u2013 (4 pages _format* \/per registration)<\/li>\n<li>a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iv.csites.fct.unl.pt\/uk\/call-for-papers\/paper-poster-cfp\/call-for-papers\/paper-poster-cfp\/poster-presentation\/\">poster presentation<\/a>(displayed online or during the event) \u2013 Accepted poster contributions are presented as posters and, if accompanied by a 2-to 4-page paper, are also included in the proceedings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* 4 more pages are possible, subject to Excess fee charges<\/p>\n<p>* Paper format \u2013\u00a0 format:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\">https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These submissions include, but are not limited to, the subject theme outlined within the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iv.csites.fct.unl.pt\/uk\/call-for-papers\/paper-poster-cfp\/symposia\">Symposia description<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blind Review Requirement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All submissions must follow a blind (anonymous) review process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not include author names, affiliations, or any identifying information in your submission<\/li>\n<li>Remove self-identifying references where possible<\/li>\n<li>Author details must be entered separately in the submission system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Review Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All submissions will be <strong>peer-reviewed<\/strong> by the Programme Committee based on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevance to conference themes<\/li>\n<li>Originality and contribution<\/li>\n<li>Clarity and organisation<\/li>\n<li>Methodological quality (for full papers)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Accepted submissions will be included in the conference proceedings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Awards &amp; Journal Publication of selected Papers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u201cBest Paper Awards\u201d will be given to the studies that will be selected by the committee among the papers\/posters presented in IV2026 and applied for the award. The study\u2019s relevance to the symposium\u2019s scope, its scientific contribution, and its writing\/presentation style will be considered in the evaluation process.<\/p>\n<p>IV2026 and AIViz2026 will have the following awards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best Paper of the Year Award (Conditions: Being a presenter in the symposium)<\/li>\n<li>The Young Researcher of the Year Award (Conditions: Being a presenter in the symposium, age of 40 and younger)<\/li>\n<li>Best Oral Presentation Award (Conditions: Being a presenter in the symposium)<\/li>\n<li>Best Research Award [For poster presentations]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and submitted to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.computer.org\/conferences\/cps\">Conference Publishing Services<\/a>, as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&amp;I) databases such as EI Compendex, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Knowledge, Thomson ISI, and IET Inspect. Also, extended versions of selected papers will be published as a special issue or edited books; for more information, see the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iv.csites.fct.unl.pt\/uk\/call-for-papers\/paper-poster-cfp\/publication\/\">publication page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Presentation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Full papers<\/strong> will be presented as oral presentations<\/li>\n<li><strong>Posters<\/strong> will be presented during dedicated poster sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At least one author must register and present at the conference.
