Professor Frederic Fol Leymarie is a prominent Professor of Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London. His work centers on the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision, visual computing, shape representation, and the creative arts. He co-founded London Geometry Ltd in 2011, a consultancy providing serious games, professional training, and interactive graphic solutions. Creative Robotics: He explores how AI systems and robots can replicate or extend human artistic skills, specifically studying how machines perform drawing and painting. Shape Representation: He is developing a mathematical language for 2D and 3D shape modelling, applicable in medicine, biology, architecture, and computer-aided design. EACVA Project: He serves as a principal investigator for the Embodied Agents in Contemporary Visual Art (EACVA) project. This international collaboration examines how robotic image generation and AI influence human perceptions of creativity and authorship. Gamification in Science: He co-led the “DockIt” research project, utilising video game mechanics to solve molecular biology and protein docking problems alongside Imperial College London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This keynote will take you on a journey and will give concrete examples of visual thinking that have helps thousands of people around the world from Stanford to Singapore, from St.Gallen to South Africa.
