This, embedded with the current research being undertaken in industry and academia, will provide coverage of the salient aspects and sub-areas of visualization and graphics. Such work will be presented in a series of symposia, one of which is the &#8216;DIGITAL ART&#8217; symposium and digital art gallery. Authors are invited to send their extended abstract or the full paper to the chairperson of the symposium.<\/p>\n<p>Artists are invited to submit their current digital artwork for exhibition in IV-DIGITAL ART GALLERY.<\/p>\n<p>Papers presenting original research with the theme of &#8216;DIGITAL ART&#8217; are being sought. Suggested topics include (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing artists to learn programming, preparing programmers to learn aesthetics<\/li>\n<li>The interrelationship between disciplines. How computer graphics can influence computer science and software engineering<\/li>\n<li>Issues in digital art: Technical challenge and artistic quality, criticism, perception in the field<\/li>\n<li>Art and visualization of spatial, tonal, and temporal domains: Industry, Academia, Media<\/li>\n<li>New media arts approaches within medical science and technology, NanoArt<\/li>\n<li>Game and interactive multimedia<\/li>\n<li>Information technology in visual arts and culture, visual art for IT Visualization<\/li>\n<li>Cognitive Science issues, digital art, and visual learning: critical and abstract thinking, problem finding<\/li>\n<li>The role of digital art and graphics in the production of web video for marketing<\/li>\n<li>Digital fabrication methods.
