There are two airports called Frankfurt, Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) and Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN). Hahn Airport (HHN) is far away from the city of Frankfurt (approx. 120km / 75 miles) and the bus connections are not good, so we would not recommend it.
Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) is located about 25km / 16 miles from Darmstadt and there are bus and train connections that go easily to Darmstadt main station.
From the main station you can quickly get to the university campus and surrounding hotels on foot, by bus or by tram.
