13th International Symposium Augmented Reality Visualization and Art in the Age of Spatial AI
Augmented Reality (AR) has evolved beyond overlay technologies into a powerful medium for spatial intelligence, embodied interaction, and AI-driven knowledge environments. ARVA positions augmented reality at the intersection of visualisation science, computational creativity, artificial intelligence, spatial computing, digital humanities, human–AI collaboration, and immersive art practice.
This symposium explores how AI-enhanced AR systems transform the way we perceive, interpret, and interact with data, narratives, environments, and cultural artefacts. From generative models embedded in spatial contexts to real-time multimodal analytics and embodied storytelling, AR is becoming a platform for intelligent, adaptive, and context-aware visual experiences.
This symposium invites interdisciplinary contributions from researchers, artists, designers, technologists, engineers, and humanities scholars working at the convergence of:
- Spatial AI and Augmented Intelligence
- Generative AI for immersive visualisation
- Embodied and affective interaction design
- XR data storytelling and narrative environments
- Digital twins and urban/civic visualisation
- Cultural heritage, digital humanities, and memory spaces
- AI-driven creative practice and computational art
- Ethics, bias, trust, and explainability in AR systems
- Human–AI co-creation in immersive environments
- AR for education, healthcare, sustainability, and social impact
